So, I'm graduating this Tuesday. Finally.

My grandmother is giving me the most awesome graduation present ever. SHE'S GIVING ME A BRAND NEW DIGIAL CAMERA. You have NO idea of how excited I am, I NEED a new camera so badly! I can finally take photos and not wonder how badly they are going to turn out AND I'll be able to take my camera with me to concerts! YAY!!

Speaking of going places, on the 18th of June I'm leaving for Denver, Colorado to go be with my friend Kitty. We're going to VNV Nation (on the 19th! The day I get there!) and The Masquerave (a formal masked dance that is actually a rave). I'll be going home sometime in early July then later that month I'll be heading out to Denver again to go to Ozzfest and see Lordi!

How can afford this? Well, Kitty is paying for my ticket to Denver this time and my VNV ticket but more importantly, I have a job now. Well, I start tomorrow. It's awesome, I'm working at home, online, my own hours and I'll make quite a bit of money as well so yay!

Also, I'm going to audition for a heavy metal band very soon. If they like me then I'm in! How awesome is that?

As you all know, I saw Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation on the 31st of May and...there will never again be anything like it. It was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Cristina is so incredible, words can't describe it. When she came onstage I almost stopped breathing, just her being there was so powerful it was insane. No, but I haven't even gotten to the best parts.
They played SENZAFINE AND DAYLIGHT DANCER. My two favorite Lacuna Coil songs. Ever. I got their setlist so I know everything they played.
Speaking of, I also got 3 guitar picks. However, the best thing I got that night was CRISTINA SCABBIA'S TOWEL. Heh. I swear I'm not obsessed. >_>

But, that doesn't even come close to what happened to me during Daylight Dancer.
That song is mine, but the lyrics that are the most powerful for me are:

When Andrea sang "Walking through a life decayed while you're repeating your mistakes" I screamed it out so loudly that Cristina came over to me, grabbed my hand and sang "There's another chance to try to get away" looking directly at me in my eyes.

I can't even describe how...wonderful that was. To have Cristina holding my hand, telling me that there is another chance to live. Those seconds are something I can never, ever forget. If I close my eyes I can relive those second over and over again in my head. Just thinking about it makes me shiver.

Ok, I'm done with raving about how wonderful Cristina and Lacuna Coil are. *wanders away*
